Root ‘n’ Fruit is run by a group of volunteers who are seeking to make at least a small, positive difference to the area in which we live.

We are always looking for more volunteers and can offer a range of opportunities involving such activities as:

• Administration – e.g. fundraising, marketing and distributing.
• Cultivation – e.g. growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
• Engineering – e.g. designing and building Blender Bikes, and solar-powered watering systems.
• Innovation – e.g. vertical growing systems, hot-boxes and cubed fruits.
• Construction – e.g. making paths, barbeques, bird-boxes, and bug hotels.

And of course, we can offer lots of:.

• Digging, Watering and Weeding – real stress busters!

Previous knowledge, or experience, is not required.

We provide refreshments, equipment and training free of charge, and might be able to help with travel costs.
