Partnerships

Encouraging Partnership working is a key part of the Root ‘n’ Fruit ethos.

We have established great Partnerships with, and have been supported by:

  • Steelite International;
  • The City Learning Trust;
  • Stoke-on-Trent City Council;
  • North Staffs Allotment Association;
  • Novus Property Solutions;
  • PM Training;
  • Brown Recycling;
  • Michelin Tyre;
  • 1,000 Lives; and
  • Dudson Ceramics.

Root ‘n Fruit is working with the Food Bank, The Lighthouse Centre, and 1,000 Lives, to support community kitchens, providing cooked meals to the community and running cook and learn sessions – using the fresh fruit and vegetables that are grown and donated.

We are working with Middleport Medical Centre, which is referring patients to the initiative, and with Green Door, which is a Big Lottery funded project, that encourages older people, as well as people with mobility issues or with learning difficulties, to make
more use of the green spaces in the City – to improve their physical and mental well-being and to reduce isolation.

If your organisation might be interested in becoming one of our Partners – perhaps helping with funding; encouraging volunteers; or supplying materials, please get in touch via the details on our Contact page.

We would love to hearing from you!
